Swimming as meditation
I’m a strong advocate of swimming as meditation. It’s a repetitive activity that lends itself to mindfulness with its strong focus on breathing.
Numerous studies have proven swimming’s contribution to reducing anxiety and improving mental well-being.
I can support you to be mindful of your stroke and raise your awareness of how you are in the water and your breathing so you can focus on the water, how you move and the present moment (and nothing else).
Swimming stroke support
For swimmers who want to swim with more efficiency or who have come from a running or cycling background and want to perform better in triathlons or just feel more confident in the water.
I’ll watch you swim and offer an analysis of what’s needed and offer practical exercises to improve how you move through the water.
Swimming lessons
I can offer one to one support for individuals to begin their journey to becoming a swimmer or a stronger swimmer, with bespoke support.
